This model series was made as a part of a structural case study of one of Brian MacKay-Lyons built projects. The three study models highlight three major components of Macko: cladding, techtonic elements and framing. The final model then combines framing and techtonic to give a holistic idea of the structure. Through this case study we learned about different framing and cladding techniques used in small-scale wooden buildings.
